Eight Wealth approached Who Dares Group with a simple yet vital objective: to create a unique team-building experience that would break away from conventional corporate away days. The goal was to boost team morale, introduce valuable life skills, and deliver an impactful experience that combined learning, energy, and lasting memories. They were not looking for traditional workshops or lecture-based formats — they wanted something hands-on, meaningful, and above all, fun.
The challenge was to design a full-day programme that offered more than just entertainment. It needed to support internal team dynamics, encourage resilience under pressure, and give their team tools they could apply in both professional and personal life. With a diverse team and varied levels of physical capability, the solution also had to be accessible and inclusive.
Solution:
Working closely with Eight Wealth, we built a bespoke corporate event that struck the right balance between high engagement and practical value.
Hosted and delivered by former UK Special Forces personnel, the event featured a powerful keynote talk on the art of resilience — with a focus on how mental toughness and calm under pressure can drive growth both at work and at home. This set the tone for the rest of the day.
The team then took part in interactive situational awareness and self-defence training, designed to improve decision-making under pressure while learning how to stay composed in unpredictable environments. These practical sessions were tailored to suit a mixed-ability group, ensuring everyone could get involved regardless of previous experience.
To round out the day, we ran team-based challenges that encouraged communication, trust, and problem-solving — reinforcing the core lessons of the day in a light, competitive environment.
